Syria's Interior Ministry reported that at least 30 people have been killed and 100 injured in clashes between Bedouins and Druze in the southern province of Al-Suwayda. The statement also noted that "security forces (regime personnel) 'will intervene directly' to resolve the conflict and stop the clashes." Meanwhile, according to a report by the Lebanese network "Al-Mayadeen," Druze and Bedouin leaders helped release detainees held by both sides in an attempt to resolve the crisis.
