The United States issued a joint statement with 13 other countries, including Britain, France, Germany and Spain, condemning the "growing number of threats from Iranian intelligence services" in their territories. "We are united in our opposition to Iranian intelligence attempts to kill, kidnap and harass people in Europe and North America, in clear violation of our sovereignty. They cooperate with international criminal organizations to target journalists, regime opponents, Jewish citizens and official figures. This is unacceptable."
