UK: '2 Russian fighter jets dangerously approached our spy planes'

|
The UK Ministry of Defence said two Russian fighter jets "repeatedly and dangerously intercepted" an unarmed British spy plane over the Black Sea last month, the BBC reported. A Russian Su-35 fighter jet approached the Royal Air Force surveillance aircraft in a manner that triggered its emergency systems and disabled the autopilot. A Russian Su-27 fighter jet also passed six times in front of the UK Air Force plane and came within six meters of its nose.
