Following an incident where a man barricaded himself on a building rooftop in Rehovot after his 80-year-old mother was found lifeless in her apartment, police are investigating a suspected murder. Signs of violence were found on the elderly woman's body. Police officers who accessed the roof are negotiating with the son, amid concerns of a repeat of the incident that occurred in Bat Yam a week and a half ago. In that case, 51-year-old Yelena Galovsky was murdered by her husband Yevgeny, who jumped from the building roof after barricading himself there for almost nine hours.
