Hila Avir, one of the founders of the October Council, an organization uniting bereaved families and victims of the October 7 massacre in demanding the establishment of a state commission of inquiry, spoke at the protest against the government at Habima Square in Tel Aviv. "I'm not speaking from a divide of left or right," she said, "I'm speaking on behalf of those who love the state and do not agree to be abandoned again and again. The struggle is not only about memory. It's about security, trust and repair. It's about the place where our children will live."
