After Degel HaTorah: Agudat Yisrael also withdraws from government and coalition

|
Following Degel HaTorah's announcement, the Agudat Yisrael faction has also announced its withdrawal from the government and coalition. "In light of the fact that a draft bill was presented last night regarding the regulation of yeshiva students' status with the draft authorities that does not satisfy the requirements and opinion of our Torah sages, the members of the Council of Torah Sages have instructed Agudat Yisrael representatives to resign from their coalition positions," they stated. Consequently, the coalition is left with 61 members.
