Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu eulogized the victim of the attack in the Benjamin region and said that "on behalf of all Israeli citizens, my wife and I send heartfelt condolences to the family of the victim of the attack and share in their heavy grief." The prime minister referred to the manhunt underway for the terrorist, and added: "No terrorist is immune, nor are those who aided them. We will settle accounts with all of them - in Gaza, Lebanon and Judea and Samaria. I have ordered immediate action to demolish the terrorist's home."
