A Haredi minister claimed that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to dismiss Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee Chairman Yuli Edelstein during a meeting between the two. According to the minister, "This is Netanyahu's method: when they threatened to block the trapped profits law, he fired Gallant, when they threaten to dissolve the Knesset, he will likely dismiss Edelstein. But the problem will remain. Netanyahu never wanted and doesn't want to resolve the status of Torah scholars. Therefore, the only solution is dissolving the Knesset."
