U.S. envoys Steve Witkoff and Adam Boehler met with a Hamas delegation in Doha, Hezbollah-affiliated Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar reported, citing diplomatic sources.
According to the report, the discussions were described "clear and candid," with senior Hamas officials Mohammed Darwish and Khalil al-Hayya among those present.
The report also claimed that "negotiations have entered a new phase, with increasing indications of the possibility of a brief ceasefire."
