The Ministry of Transportation and Israel Railways jointly announced a new train schedule set to begin on November 14. As part of the new timetable, the Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon-Tel Aviv-Herzliya line will be extended and now reach Hadera West, Netanya and Beit Yehoshua stations. Passengers from these stations will be able to reach Ben Gurion Airport by direct train, without transfers. In addition, train frequency will be increased during off-peak hours and cars and seating will be added on the coastal line. To implement the change, Israel Railways and the Ministry of Transportation decided to shorten the Be'er Sheva-Karmiel line, which will no longer stop at Hadera West station. The changes are expected to include additional adjustments to various lines across the country.
