Fire Department: Multiple Active Fire Sites in Jerusalem Hills, Effort in Shoresh to Contain Expanding Fire Front

Fire and Rescue Services reported that firefighting teams continue to handle multiple fire sites and scenes in the Jerusalem Hills and Judean lowlands. According to the announcement, active sites include the Mevo Horon area and Burma Road toward Beit Meir. Another hotspot is near the residential area in Mesilat Zion and also close to the gas station at Sha'ar HaGai. Several additional sites are in the Latrun area, Neve Shalom and Eshtaol Forest. The main effort is concentrated in the Shoresh area and the Convoy Ridge, toward the Masrek Nature Reserve, to contain an active and expanding fire front.
