Sister of hostage Tamir Nimrodi: 'This week I celebrated a second birthday without him. The state decided to give up'

Amit Nimrodi, whose brother Tamir is held captive by Hamas in the Gaza Strip, spoke at the Hostages Square: "This past Monday I celebrated my 16th birthday, a second birthday without Tamir, without his blessing, without his hug and kiss. While my peers are flying on vacations with their families, I'm flying to delegations to speak with presidents so that someone will finally do something and bring my brother home. Does it sound reasonable to anyone that we have to beg other countries because our own country has stopped listening and decided to give up on its citizens? A comprehensive agreement must be brought that will ensure the return of the last hostage without the need for cruel selections and differentiation between brothers."
