|
Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana said at the opening ceremony of Memorial Day for Israel's Fallen Soldiers and Victims of Terrorism that "every year, on this day, a secular yet sacred occasion, the people of Israel unite with the memory of its fallen. The flag is lowered to half-mast and we all stand alongside the bereaved families. The people of Israel remember and commemorate on this day the radiance of the youth."
