Russian report: 'Due to war with Iran, some 40 Israelis detained in Moscow'

|
According to a report on a Russian opposition website, authorities in Moscow detained and interrogated at least some 40 Israelis over 'involvement' in the war with Iran. According to the report, dozens of Israelis - some holding Russian passports - were held for five hours without food, water or even access to bathrooms. A source told the website that authorities treated the Israelis rudely and demanded they unlock their mobile phones. During the interrogation, according to the report, the Israelis were told that Iran is Russia's ally and 'your enemy is our enemy too.' The Israelis were released after about five hours and signed what amounted to 'warning documents.' A source in Israel said there is information about such an incident, and according to him, the number of Israelis involved 'is lower, but not by much, than what was stated.'
