Police arrested a 32-year-old Sderot resident in a hideout apartment in Tel Aviv, on suspicion of involvement in a car explosion in Ashkelon last Tuesday. The investigation revealed that several suspects fled the scene. Later, a suspect driver did not stop for inspection on Highway 34 - breaking through a checkpoint and endangering the lives of police officers. The vehicle was found abandoned near Sderot, and the suspect was later located in the hideout apartment. The charges against him include endangering human life, conspiracy to commit a crime and obstructing a police officer. Today he will be brought before the Ashkelon Magistrate's Court for a detention extension hearing.
