Russia: Ukrainian drone attack led to closure of 8 airports across the country

At least eight airports across Russia were forced to suspend operations overnight following a Ukrainian drone attack, according to the country's airport authority. Meanwhile, Russia's Defense Ministry claimed that 33 drones were destroyed in five regions, as well as in Crimea and the Black Sea area. Russian authorities reported that two people were injured in the town of Slavyansk-on-Kuban in the southern Krasnodar region.
