A 70-year-old man lost consciousness while driving on Ayalon Highway (20), apparently due to a cardiac event, and crashed into a safety barrier near the Holot interchange. MDA paramedics and medical staff provided treatment and performed resuscitation, during which his heart resumed beating. He regained full consciousness and was evacuated to Kaplan Hospital in Rehovot in stable condition.
