Police detective investigated for sexual extortion remains on duty

The Police Internal Investigations Department has recently launched an investigation against a detective from the Iron Police Station, suspecting him of seven serious offenses. He is under investigation for assault causing actual bodily harm, aggravated assault, threats, extortion by threats, evidence destruction, obstruction of justice, and privacy violation. According to one allegation, he allegedly committed sexual extortion against a complainant after photographing their intimate conversations and threatening to distribute them. Additionally, he is being investigated for allegedly extracting information from police systems and passing it to criminal elements. Despite these allegations being known to the police and his ongoing investigation by the Internal Affairs department, the detective continues to serve at the station.
