|
The IDF spokesperson announced that the operation to recover the body of Thai hostage Natthapong Pinta was made possible thanks to intelligence obtained from a Shin Bet interrogation of a militant, which led to locating and retrieving the body. This was combined with intelligence from the hostage command center and intelligence division. Following an identification process conducted by the hostage team at the Manpower Division, together with the Foreign Ministry and the Coordinator for Captives and Missing Persons, Brig. Gen. (res.) Gal Hirsch, the news was delivered to the family, the Thai government, and the Nir Oz community. It was also reported that the Al-Mujahideen terror organization, which kidnapped and killed Pinta, is holding another foreign deceased hostage.
