Following a demand from Israeli security authorities, Arkia announced it is halting ticket sales for flights to Marrakech at this stage, until further notice. The company also stated that it is "in contact with the relevant authorities and security officials and is examining with them the possibility of continuing to operate the route and the implications regarding flights that have already been sold. Should Israeli authorities decide to halt Israeli airline flights to Marrakech, Arkia is examining additional alternatives that would allow continued operation of the route, including operating the flights through its commercial partners."
