Gender-separated Yom Kippur prayers return to Tel Aviv public spaces

|
The organization 'Rosh Yehudi' is planning to hold Yom Kippur prayers in Tel Aviv public spaces this year after receiving permission from the municipality, following last year's Supreme Court ruling that authorized gender-separated prayer in Meir Park. After choosing to hold prayers inside a synagogue last year to avoid confrontations, the organization has now decided to pray in public spaces – during the 'Kol Nidrei' and evening prayers on Yom Kippur eve, and during the closing Neilah prayer.
