The Jerusalem Magistrate's Court released three suspects to house arrest in the assault on Washington Post American photographer Heidi Levine in the village of Tayibe near Ramallah last Friday. Another suspect in the assault was released without restrictive conditions and hearings on the cases of three additional suspects are expected to be held in the coming hour. Judge Moriah Tzarka said during the hearing that 'there is no dispute that the assault incident is serious. However, from the single video shown to me, it appears that due to stone throwing, journalists fled the scene. The respondents deny any connection to the incident.'
