Head of the IDF Personnel Directorate, Major General Dado Bar Kalifa, met with representatives of reserve service organizations. During the meeting, Major General Bar Kalifa addressed the draft orders for ultra-Orthodox men, saying that "regarding our commitments related to orders and enforcement, we are monitoring each and every case." He added that the IDF is trying to overcome the gender challenge for ultra-Orthodox and "doing something that has never been done before, a base where women are not allowed to enter." The meeting revealed that next year there are expected to be "about 100,000 draft dodgers."
