Police arrested and detained 47 suspects in Umm al-Fahm on charges of money laundering and income tax evasion, including illegal workers and their employers. During the operation, police seized tens of millions of shekels and more than three tons of meat unfit for human consumption. In addition, 11 vehicles estimated to be worth more than three million shekels were seized, some intended for confiscation and others belonging to individuals with debts to the Tax Authority, the Fines Collection Center and the National Insurance Institute. During the operation, searches and seizures were conducted at dozens of businesses. Additionally, dozens of kilograms of suspected counterfeit cigarettes and tobacco were seized.
