The Trump administration has begun an enforcement operation against immigrants in the state of Massachusetts through the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The New York Times reported this, adding that the operation is expected to last several weeks. The Department of Homeland Security, which oversees ICE, said they are arresting "the worst foreign criminals in the country." In a statement regarding the operation, dubbed "Patriot 2.0," immigrants were warned: "If you come to our country and break the law, we will hunt you down, arrest you and deport you - and you will never return."
