The Foreign Ministry announced that "security and law enforcement services in Mexico foiled a terror infrastructure operating under Iranian direction to harm the Israeli ambassador to Mexico." The ministry thanked the Mexican security services and stated that "the Israeli security and intelligence community will continue to work tirelessly and in full cooperation with security and intelligence agencies worldwide to thwart terror threats from Iran and its proxies against Israeli and Jewish targets around the world."
