Netanyahu reveals: Attack was set for late April, for various reasons it didn't succeed

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu provided an update, saying he will try to make such statements daily. According to him, the strikes on Iran were delayed for months. "I gave instructions to the defense establishment more than half a year ago, in November 2024, to eliminate the nuclear program," he said. According to Netanyahu, he initially set the operation date for late April. "It didn't succeed in happening exactly on that date and the precise date was determined on the recommendation of the IDF, in consultation with the Chief of Staff and Defense Minister. This didn't happen by chance or for trivial reasons - if Iran has nuclear weapons, we simply won't be here."
