German Foreign Minister departs for Israel: 'Will inquire about war objectives'

German Foreign Minister Johann Wadfull departed for a visit to Israel and the Middle East. Before taking off from Berlin, Wadfull said his visit would include 'critical discussions' and added: 'I will inquire about the strategic objective of the fighting since it resumed in March.' During his visit to Israel, the minister is expected to meet with his counterpart Gideon Saar, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and families of hostages.
