Meanwhile, Bloomberg news agency reported that London fears the sanctions "could be the first significant obstacle" in relations with the United States. Sources familiar with the matter told the news agency, adding that British diplomats told Americans that the new sanctions will be largely symbolic and will not have a substantial impact on relations between Jerusalem and London in trade or security.
