Entrance to Several Streams in Northern Israel Banned Amid Contamination Concerns

|
The Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Environmental Protection reported abnormal results from water sampling conducted to examine the pollution status of streams in northern Israel. Entering the following streams may be dangerous until sampling results return to normal and stable levels: Hatzbani - Gan HaTzafon (hydroelectric station); Jordan River - from Mishmar Hayarden Bridge to Gesher HaHamisha; Hexagon Pool; Jilabun; Zaki; Yehudia. Several streams showed results indicating water contamination, but the Ministry of Environmental Protection found no known pollution source.
