Trump administration eyes former British PM to head interim Gaza government

U.S. President Donald Trump's administration is planning to appoint former British Prime Minister Tony Blair to head the temporary governance mechanism in the Gaza Strip for "the day after" the war. Blair has long been working behind the scenes and is involved with Trump's special envoy Steve Whitcoff and the president's son-in-law Jared Kushner in developing ideas for Gaza's reconstruction.
