The Prime Minister's Office announced that following a lengthy investigation led by the Mossad, and thanks to cooperation with European intelligence and law enforcement services, terror infrastructures built by Hamas with the aim of carrying out attacks against Israeli and Jewish targets in Europe have recently been thwarted. As a result, security forces in Europe conducted a series of operations to arrest terrorists and uncovered weapons caches intended for use by terror cells to attack innocent people "when ordered," including in Germany and Austria. For example, in Vienna, a weapons cache belonging to Hamas operative Muhammad Naim, son of Bassam Naim, a senior official in the terrorist organization's political bureau, was discovered about two months ago.
