Attorney General to Netanyahu: 'Urgent need' to appoint ministers to portfolios previously held by Shas

|
Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara sent a letter to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in which she wrote that there is an "urgent and vital need" to fill the ministerial positions that were held by the Shas party before it left the government. "For about a month, ministers of Health; Welfare and Social Security; Interior; Labor; Religious Services; Jerusalem and Israeli Tradition have not been serving in their roles," wrote Baharav-Miara, under the heading "Expiration of terms of ministers in the Israeli government serving as acting ministers." According to her, "the meaning of this is severe damage to the functioning of government ministries and the public."
