Hezbollah's secretary general on the weapons issue: 'Israel has no right to intervene'

|
Hezbollah's Secretary General Naim Qassem claimed in a speech that Lebanon is at a "new stage in the conflict" and in a "new era." Regarding Hezbollah's disarmament, he said it is a "Lebanese issue and Israel has no right to intervene." Qassem went on to accuse Foreign Minister Youssef Reggie of "inciting civil war," following an interview in which Reggie said Israel could continue to attack as long as Hezbollah's weapons are not collected by the state. "Lebanon implemented the agreement, while Israel has not implemented anything from it," Qassem said.
