Defense Minister Israel Katz responded to IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, saying "I appreciate the Chief of Staff, who knows very well that he is subordinate to the Prime Minister, the Defense Minister and the Israeli government. I do not intend to argue in the media. The Defense Ministry inspector will submit his conclusions within 30 days - and only then will I formulate my decisions on appointments, as required by my role and authority."
