Interior Minister Moshe Arbel has approved a recovery plan for the city of Nazareth, which is in a difficult economic situation. "The plan is designed to lead the municipality to sustainable budget balance starting from 2026, through immediate treatment of accumulated deficit, strengthening collection and enforcement, settling past debts and building independent income sources, with the aim of returning the municipality to proper functioning and realizing the great potential existing in the city," it was reported.
