U.S. Ambassador to UN Meets with Hostages' Families: 'Committed to Their Return'

Israel's UN Ambassador Danny Danon met with a delegation of hostages' families at the U.S. Mission building in New York, alongside U.S. Ambassador Dorothy Shea. Family representatives included Tal Cooperstein, father of hostage Bar Cooperstein; Danny Miran, father of hostage Omri Miran; Yehuda Cohen, father of captured soldier Nimrod Cohen; and Doris Lieber, mother of the late Guy Iluz. The U.S. Ambassador told the families, 'Our hearts are with you. The United States is committed to doing everything possible to bring your loved ones home.' Nimrod Cohen's father said: 'I request pressure be put on Netanyahu. The Israeli government has no interest in releasing hostages.'
