Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a meeting with heads of local authorities in the north, before a series of sirens in the Galilee, that "the State of Israel is committed to the security of the northern residents. We will continue to act resolutely against any threat and invest the necessary resources to ensure the rehabilitation, growth and future of the northern communities - exactly as we did in the south." He added: "The residents of the area have shown exceptional resilience throughout the recent period, and we are committed to stand by their side. I thank the heads of the local authorities who worked in cooperation with government ministries in order to bring important decisions to the north."
