Following National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir's proposal to establish a prison surrounded by crocodiles, several Prison Service officers conducted a tour of Hamat Gader and received a briefing on how to handle crocodiles. The tour was also attended by Deputy Commissioner of the Israel Prison Service, Brigadier General Hatem Azzam.
