Ruby Chen, father of kidnapped and deceased soldier Itay Chen, spoke in front of the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv, saying: "The United States is our greatest friend and the moral compass of the world, and today, it holds the key that can tip the scales — influence Israel and Hamas to close the deal."
Chen addressed U.S. President Donald Trump and his special envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff, calling: "Use your power. Use your conscience. Show the world that you are the leaders of the world. Because the hostages cannot wait another day."
