Syrian media outlets report that President Ahmad al-Shar'a held a meeting with several Arab media figures and former ministers in the field of public diplomacy, with whom he discussed, among other things, "advanced discussions regarding a security agreement between Damascus and Tel Aviv." According to the report, he stated that "any agreement with Israel will be based only on the 1974 ceasefire line."
