Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich addressed the threats by France, Britain and Canada to impose sanctions on Israel in response to continued military operations in the Gaza Strip, stating that these countries 'have aligned themselves with Hamas, and have gone further by seeking to reward terror and grant it statehood.' According to him, 'Israel will not bow its head to this moral, antisemitic and one-sided hypocrisy, and will continue its just and moral war until Hamas is destroyed, the hostages are returned, and the threat is removed.'
