Hezbollah mouthpiece: 'If Lebanon's president meets Netanyahu, he will no longer be president'

|
Ibrahim al-Amin, editor of the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar, which is affiliated with Hezbollah, wrote in an article that "if Lebanese President Joseph Aoun meets with Benjamin Netanyahu, he will no longer be Lebanon's president, but rather a president imposed on the Lebanese people by the force of American-Israeli occupation. He will have no legitimacy and will not interest any Lebanese citizen. He will be isolated both popularly and politically, his authority will lose all legitimacy and resistance to it will become an obligation. No agreement to end the war with Israel will be possible without Hezbollah's consent."
