Portuguese police have resumed the search for Madeleine McCann, who disappeared 18 years ago at age 3, a week before her fourth birthday in 2007. Authorities announced yesterday the renewal of the search efforts, which effectively began today after a two-year pause. The search is taking place around the Praia da Luz resort village in southern Portugal, where she was last seen, and near a house where the main suspect in the case - German citizen Christian Brueckner - previously resided.
