Judge Amit Michles at the Lod District Court accepted the police appeal regarding the detention of former Prime Minister's spokesperson Jonathan Urich in the 'Qatar-gate' case. Urich's detention was extended until Monday, though with improved conditions, contrary to the police appeal. In his decision, Michles stated that the suspicion against Urich 'has significantly strengthened in the past 24 hours.' According to him, 'Some of the main investigation activities cannot be carried out until technical investigation procedures are completed. It can be said that the main suspicion has strengthened considerably, especially against Urich, given his role in the Prime Minister's Office.'
