The CEO of Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem, Prof. Yoram Weiss, announced to employees that "due to ongoing discrimination against Jerusalem hospitals, management was forced to inform the Ministries of Finance and Health that it will not be able to pay January salaries to thousands of medical center employees." The CEO accused state authorities of causing "significant cash flow difficulties for the medical center," and therefore Hadassah "will struggle to pay January salaries in full to its employees."
