The IDF eliminated Jihad Ismail, head of a Nukhba cell, who infiltrated Israel on Oct. 7 and took part in the abduction of armored corps fighters Capt. Omer Neutra, Staff Sgt. Oz Daniel and Sgt. Nimrod Cohen. In this encounter, tank driver Sgt. Shaked Dahan was also killed. The IDF spokesman stated that 'during the war, the terrorist was involved in ambushes against the forces and recently promoted terrorist operations while systematically violating the ceasefire.'
