Father of hostage murdered on Oct. 7 opposes economic shutdown: 'We will compromise on partial deal'

|
Eli Shativi, father of hostage Idan Shativi who was murdered on October 7, responded in an interview with ynet studio to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's statements at yesterday's press conference about the hostages, saying: "I know with certainty that the Prime Minister and the State of Israel will return everyone. The Americans, unlike us, care less about the fallen." Shativi also added that "if there is no complete deal, then of course we will compromise on a partial deal." Shativi opposed calls for shutting down the economy and noted that he would meet with Histadrut Chairman Arnon Bar-David.
