Orian Ben Kalifa, a Border Police officer who was previously convicted of assaulting an Arab woman, has been selected as a Border Police Independence Day honoree. The citation explaining her selection stated: 'She performs her duties with dedication, quickly establishing a sense of personal security in her area while dealing constantly with hostile populations. She is an officer who performs her duties with intensive work beyond what is required.' National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir congratulated her selection.
