The judicial authority reported that Grunis will be unable to participate in hearings in the coming months due to medical circumstances, and since 'postponing the hearings would harm the commission's work, he requested to end his tenure and that another chairman be appointed in his place.' Commission member retired Supreme Court Justice Tzvi Zilbertal was appointed as chairman, and former Tel Aviv District Court President Judge Ruth Lorach was appointed as a member.
